High level introduction about our Business Unit: 
IBM Cairo Labs is an integral part of IBM WW (SWG) Software Group family. The core mission of the lab is support IBM SWG products and ensure it is successful. We are looking to hire technical team members. The candidates will go through a written test and technical interviews as part of their assessment. The Cairo Lab works in collaboration with WW IBM units across different geographies to deliver value to our internal and external customers. IBM offers a comprehensive career for technical professionals which is an industry renowned benchmark. 

Role: Application Developer 

Job Details:

·  Development of Globalization support for IBM Software products like Rational, Cognos and technologies like Dojo

·  Development of IBM internal tools


Job Requirements:

·  Experience with Java/JSP/JSF and servlets, J2EE using Websphere.

·  Strong object-oriented programming background.

·  Understanding of the software development life-cycle.

·  Excellent ability to troubleshoot and diagnose issues and bugs with Java/WebSphere.

·  Good knowledge in HTML, Java script and Dojo

·  Good documentation and writing skills.

·  Creative Problems solving skills.

·  Ability to work effectively and prioritize tasks in a fast changing environment.

·  Ability to collaborate and work within a team, as well as operate independently.

·  Excellent communication skills (English is mandatory, knowledge of languages such as French or German in addition to English will be an added advantage)

·  Ability to learn new technologies fast.

·  Willing to work under pressure
